Verona, Valpolicella and Lake Garda

Verona, Valpolicella and Lake Garda

The romantic city of Verona receives each year hundreds of thousands of visitors due to the famous Shakespeare tragic love story between Romeo & Juliet and the famous balcony. A well-known “L’Arena di Verona” also gets plenty of visitors due to the operas Aida and Carmen during the summer months.

Verona doesn’t only offer the tragic love story between Romeo & Juliet and Arena but a lot more. Apart from the classical city tour by foot, we offer a guided bicycle tour around Verona with headsets, along the river Adige and through the old part of the city. We program the tour to suit your needs and energy levels!

The well-known Valpolicella wine district is located between Verona and Lake Garda where you will find various producers who make their own wine since the beginning of XX c. Amarone, Ripasso and Recioto are produced here. The wine tasting is arranged at the property.

A day trip to Lake Garda and Sirmione is a must and both places are easily reachable by a private bus transfer. In Sirmione you’ll find the most impressive roman villa called Grotte di Catullo where Giulio Cesar spent many summers more than 2000 years ago. The castle Scaligero was the only way of getting into Sirmione long time ago and nowadays is Italy’s best preserved castle. A private boat trip from Sirmione to Bardolino is a nice way of exploring Lake Garda during which you can enjoy a nice glass of wine.
